Application Analyst

The Application Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the functionality, optimization, and ongoing support of business-critical software applications within the organization. This role involves working closely with IT teams and business units to analyze requirements, configure applications, troubleshoot issues, and support user adoption. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a deep understanding of system integration, and the ability to translate business needs into effective IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document user requirements for business applications.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application-related issues.

• Configure and customize software applications based on functional specifications.

• Perform application testing and coordinate with QA teams.

• Monitor system performance and ensure smooth daily operations.

• Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers during upgrades or implementations.

• Train end-users and prepare user manuals or technical documentation.

• Participate in application deployment, data migration, and release management.

• Ensure compliance with IT security and data protection standards.

• Continuously assess opportunities for process improvements through automation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as an application or systems analyst.

• Proficiency in database queries, scripting, and configuration tools.

• Strong understanding of SDLC and ITIL practices.

• Experience with ERP, CRM, or healthcare systems is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

• Familiarity with cloud-based application platforms.
