Physics Teacher

The Physics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality science education, with a focus on physics, to secondary school students. This role involves lesson planning, classroom instruction, assessment, and the integration of innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning. The ideal candidate has a strong subject background, excellent classroom management, and a passion for inspiring students.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons in line with the curriculum.

• Design experiments and practical activities to reinforce theoretical concepts.

• Evaluate and monitor student progress through assessments and reports.

• Develop lesson materials, quizzes, and projects that promote inquiry and analysis.

• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation.

• Use technology and multimedia tools to enhance teaching effectiveness.

• Provide individual support to students with varying learning needs.

• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and extracurricular programs.

• Maintain accurate student records and contribute to academic planning.

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive science program.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics or Science Education; Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching secondary-level physics.

• Familiarity with British, American, or IB curricula.

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.

• Ability to engage students and foster curiosity in scientific subjects.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Competence in using virtual learning environments and teaching technologies.
