Job Description
To manage end-to-end employee Visa related services, and ensuring businesses are able to operate effectively under UAE employment frameworks (labour/immigration/free zone). This role is the key influencer in terms of understanding regulatory change and legal compliance within the UAE federal labour market. The Officer - Visa Services responsible for integrating people, systems and processes to develop a fit for purpose Government Services delivery model for the Group. The job holder will always require the business needs and ensure businesses are enabled to operate.
Strategic
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Visa Services:
- Provide all type of visas (employment/mission/family/visit/domestic) as and when required by the Group companies/directors in accordance with P&C Policy and procedures.
- Responsible for all renewals & cancellation.
- Arrange visa cancellation or legal steps to clear records of ex-employees without delay to avoid legal risk to the Group due to the imposition of overstay fines.
- Validate Expenses and ensure funds availability.
- MOHRE Services:.
- Provide all type of work permits (permanent, temporary, guardian, mission).
- Provide LC Renewals on time.
- Facilitate TAWJEEH lectures for semi-skilled and unskilled workers within the given time frame to facilitate the issuance & renewals of Labor Cards.
- Validate Expenses and ensure funds availability.
- Ensure establishment information is updated on time.
- Medical Services:
- Ensuring that all medical test conducted within the allowed time frame.
- Updating the system through out process.
- Always try to find the best convenient center to BUs to ensure efficiency.
- Validate Expenses and ensure funds availability.
- EID Services:
- Looking after EID typing services (new, & renewals).
- Validate Expenses and ensure funds availability.
Gulfanisation
Pension registration/Cancellation of all GCC Nationals.
Operational
- Customer Service Focused - you are a service provide to the Group business so you must provide solutions, both short-term (sticking patches) and long-term (strategic plans) to your stakeholders.
- Must be able to priorities and manage multiple workload requests. .
- Build strong connections with the Government Entities to unexpected changes happen in Labor & Immigration rules and procedures being able to communicate these and stay ahead of the curve.
- Complexity of documentation and various modes of payment.
- Manage to deal and work with different systems to provide an equal service to all Stakeholders.

- MOL Complaints process (UAE Nationals).
- Absconding process.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications:
Knowledge & Skill
- Advanced User of office productivity tools & techniques (eg : MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Visio, etc.).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in both official languages (oral and written).
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of Business goals.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of directly related experience in government relations services.
- Tasheel systems.
- GDRFA Smart Channels.
- Demonstrable experience in practice HR in the UAE along with the interpretation of UAE labor law.
