As a Freight Forwarding Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales efforts and expanding the customer base for our freight forwarding services. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients in the logistics and supply chain industry. Your primary focus will be on promoting our robust services, including air, sea, and land freight solutions, while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining long-term partnerships. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet business goals.
  • Identify and engage potential clients to expand our customer base.
  • Build strong relationships with existing and new clients for repeat business.

  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Negotiate terms of business with clients to secure profitable agreements.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals to customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Track sales metrics and reporting to upper management for strategic adjustments.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote services.
  • Provide excellent customer service to resolve client issues efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve sales targets consistently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or relevant field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are crucial for success.
  • In-depth understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships effectively.
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Able to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
