As a Fleet Planning Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and optimization of a company's fleet operations. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate fleet maintenance schedules and ensure all vehicles are properly serviced and in compliance with regulations.
  • Manage procurement and leasing of new vehicles as needed to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and maintain accurate records for inspections and audits.
  • Develop and oversee driver training programs to promote safe driving practices and reduce accidents.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast fleet needs and plan for future growth or changes in operations.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to enhance fleet management processes and achieve operational goals.
  • Establish relationships with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure quality services at competitive rates.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve fleet planning and management strategies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fleet planning, optimization, and management.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations, industry best practices, and fleet management software.
