The Fleet Planning Officer plays a pivotal role in the strategic alignment and operational efficiency of a company's vehicle fleet. Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive reports on fleet performance and future projections.
  • Monitor fleet maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards for fleet operations.
  • Negotiate contracts with vehicle suppliers and service providers for cost efficiency.
  • Oversee the logistical planning of fleet dispatch and routing for efficiency.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders to promote collaborative improvements in operations.
  • Conduct regular audits of fleet assets to maintain accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to integrate innovative solutions.
  • Support the budgeting process by providing accurate forecasts of fleet expenses.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet management or operations planning.
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and manage multiple projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle regulations and safety compliance standards.
