Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records, handling the bookkeeping, managing accounts receivable/payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. In this role, you will work closely with the finance manager to support the business by providing timely and accurate financial reports. Your analytical skills and keen attention to detail will be key in assisting with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and supporting audits. As an Accounts Executive, you will also play a critical role in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting systems.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for management on a regular basis.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and auditing procedures.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
  • Prepare budgets and assist in the management of financial planning activities.
  • Implement process improvements for efficient financial operations.
  • Support the finance manager with ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Manage payroll processing and resolve any related issues.
  • Ensure accurate financial data entry and records management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software Sage, QuickBooks, or similar programs.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in financial tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for effective work management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for team collaboration.
