Job Description

The Store Executive plays a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of a retail establishment or warehouse. This position involves overseeing inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and coordinating with other departments to maintain a smooth workflow. The Store Executive is responsible for optimizing the store's operational efficiency and driving sales growth while providing leadership and guidance to the store team. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of retail operations, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach to business.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of all processes.
  • Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess stock in the store.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate store staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase store traffic and sales.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and manage delivery timelines.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement policies to support store growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, providing insights for improvements.
  • Ensure the store maintains a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment for customers.
  • Prepare and manage store budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach to solutions.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with employees and customers.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategic sales plans.
