Accountant

As an integral part of the accounting team, the Accountant plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational excellence of the company. This position necessitates a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of accounting principles. The Accountant will oversee key financial functions, contribute to accurate financial reporting, and provide insights that drive financial decisions. Working within a dynamic environment, the Accountant will collaborate closely with various departments to support fiscal stability and operational efficiency. Candidates should be prepared to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, adhere to strict deadlines, and maintain a high standard of accuracy in all financial dealings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting and auditing requirements are met.
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems using current technology.
• Maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting controls and procedures.
• Establish tables of accounts and assign new entries to proper accounts.
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Responsible for the company’s tax filing and compliance with regulatory tax authorities.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, finances, financial commitments to project future revenues and expenses.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities with diligence and attention to detail.
• Provide technical support and advice on management accounting practices.
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast and budget-related activities.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure all financial transactions are accurate and timely.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or working toward certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of international and local accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and accounting software applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
