Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dietician to join our dynamic team. As a Dietician, you will have the important responsibility of educating individuals about proper nutrition based on their personal health needs. You will assess patients' dietary habits, plan appropriate dietary changes, and tailor meal plans to improve or maintain the patients' health. This role requires a deep understanding of the relationship between food and health, strong communication skills to educate patients effectively, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting healthy eating habits and adept at counseling patients on nutritional matters, thereby making a tangible difference in the community's health outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Assess the dietary needs and health conditions of patients through comprehensive evaluations.
  • Develop personalized nutrition plans to meet patients' specific health goals and requirements.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on the principles of healthy eating and nutritional practices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively and holistically.
  • Monitor the progress of patients and adjust dietary plans based on changing health needs.
  • Conduct one-on-one patient consultations to discuss dietary habits and improvements.
  • Stay updated with nutritional science research to provide the most current advice.
  • Develop educational materials and workshops to promote community nutrition awareness.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records in compliance with confidentiality standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Provide guidance on nutritional supplements when necessary and appropriate.
  • Support patients in adopting and sustaining long-term dietary changes for health improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Dietician (RD) credential or pending examination with a certification timeline.
  • Proven experience working as a Dietician in a clinical or public health setting.
  • Strong understanding of nutritional guidelines, dietary supplements, and food sciences.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective patient education and counseling.
  • Ability to develop customized meal plans tailored to individual dietary needs.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess patient progress and refine dietary recommendations.
  • Commitment to staying informed about the latest nutrition science and health trends.
  • Experience using medical and nutritional software for patient data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Empathetic and patient-centered approach in interacting with patients.
