Job Description

As a Sales Executive specializing in forklifts, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our sales operations. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients and maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers by understanding their material handling needs and delivering tailored solutions. This position requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills. You will be working closely with various departments, including logistics and customer service, to ensure a seamless sales process and high customer satisfaction. Your insights and relationship-building skills will be instrumental in achieving our sales targets and expanding our market presence.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet organizational goals for forklift sales.
  • Identify and acquire new clients, expanding our customer base in the market.
  • Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing key accounts to maximize sales potential.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized material handling solutions to clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential and existing customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and activity logs for management review.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team on customer needs and suggestions.
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to represent the company.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, product knowledge, and technological advancements in forklifts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent pre-sales and post-sales support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the material handling or industrial equipment sector.
  • Strong understanding of forklift products and the material handling industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships effectively.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and training sessions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach are required.
  • Valid driver's license to facilitate travel to client sites.
