Psychologist

We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Psychologist to join our mental health services team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a deep understanding of psychological assessment and treatment, and the ability to provide culturally sensitive care. As a Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to diagnose and evaluate mental health disorders.
• Utilize standardized assessment tools, clinical interviews, and observations to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, couples, families, or groups.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to clients' needs, with a focus on culturally competent care.
• Offer crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, including risk assessment and safety planning.
• Collaborate with clients to establish treatment goals and regularly assess progress.
• Modify treatment plans as needed based on client feedback and clinical observations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other client-related documentation.
  
• Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care.
• Offer consultation and guidance to other professionals on mental health matters.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
• Adapt therapeutic approaches to respect and honor cultural differences.

• Must have experience working as a Psychologist or related field
• Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology.
• Current and valid DHA license to practice as a Psychologist in UAE
• Previous clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in assessment tools and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Multilingual abilities, including fluency in English and Arabic, are a plus.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
