Job Description

The Maintenance Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating facility maintenance projects to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. With a focus on planning and executing maintenance strategies, this professional is responsible for managing resources, timelines, and budgets to maintain the operational integrity of facilities and equipment. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities to manage teams and drive projects forward. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all facility maintenance projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop and implement strategic maintenance procedures and schedules.
  • Coordinate resources, including workforce and materials, for efficient project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during projects.
  • Collaborate with management to align maintenance strategies with business goals.
  • Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to allocated budgets.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs and issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance teams and staff.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and present feedback to stakeholders for improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and project documentation.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize impacts on projects.
  • Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in project management within maintenance operations.
  • Excellent understanding of maintenance procedures, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and facility management applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relations.
