Job Description

As a Front Office Manager, you will be at the helm of ensuring our guests receive the highest level of service from the moment they arrive until their departure. You will oversee front office operations including reception, concierge, and guest services, ensuring they function smoothly and efficiently. Your role demands leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of professionals. You will be responsible for maintaining ultimate guest satisfaction, managing any potential issues swiftly, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. A detail-oriented mindset, along with a proactive approach to anticipating guest needs, will be essential for success in this role.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the front desk to ensure smooth procedures.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through prompt resolution of queries and issues.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments for excellence.
  • Manage and train front office staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Implement and monitor staff schedules to ensure coverage at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records including reservations and guest accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Prepare performance reports and feedback sessions for continuous staff improvement.
  • Evaluate feedback and develop methods to enhance guest satisfaction levels.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all departments for effective operations.
  • Manage budgeting and financial needs of the front office department.
  • Address and resolve all guest requests and complaints efficiently and professionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a hotel front office role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software, such as Opera, is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities needed.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities required.
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
