Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Key Account Sales plays a crucial role in driving the company's growth by managing relationships with key clients and ensuring their satisfaction. This position involves strategizing and executing sales plans directed towards key accounts to achieve sales targets and objectives. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong customer connections, understanding their needs, providing personalized service, and enhancing the profitability of accounts. They will act as the primary liaison between the company and its most important clients, ensuring clients' requirements are met while aligning with the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of sales principles, and the ability to foster long-term relationships with major business partners.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust relations with key clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Implement strategic sales initiatives to increase revenue from key accounts effectively.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all communications with key account clients.
  • Analyze clients' needs and tailor solutions to maximize their satisfaction and engagement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of customer solutions and services.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell within the existing account portfolio.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements effectively to balance company and client interests.
  • Track and report on sales and key account metrics regularly to measure performance.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and proposals to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitors' activities, and market conditions.
  • Participate in networking events and conferences to connect with potential clients.
  • Lead a team in the planning and execution of client-focused sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in sales, with a focus on key account management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for strategic sales planning.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite for daily operations.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for client meetings and industry events.
