The Financial Controller plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, and safeguarding the company’s financial stability. Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all financial operations including accounting and budgeting activities.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports and statements regularly to senior management.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
• Monitor cash flow, financial transactions, and manage banking relationships effectively.
• Develop internal control policies and procedures to ensure financial integrity.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies at all times.
• Supervise and manage finance department staff, providing leadership and development.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and make informed financial decisions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies and initiatives.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audit processes.
• Manage risk assessments to mitigate financial risks across the organization.
• Coordinate with IT to implement financial systems software for improved efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is essential.
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar financial leadership role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Effective communication skills to present complex financial information clearly.
• Proficiency with financial software and advanced Excel skills are required.
• CPA or CMA certification will be considered an asset for this position.
