Job Description

The role of a Sales Manager is integral to the success and growth of an organization. As a leader of the sales team, the Sales Manager is responsible for establishing sales targets, strategizing to achieve those targets, and working closely with the team to ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day sales team operations and activities.
  • Set and track sales targets and key performance indicators for the team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of competition.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key accounts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional sales strategies.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop sales team members to reach their full potential.
  • Analyze sales data to enhance strategies and optimize team performance.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and financial budgets.
  • Ensure the sales team is using CRM systems effectively and accurately.
  • Handle escalated client issues and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay current with industry trends, market activities, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role in sales.
  • Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and lead teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Experience with CRM software and processing large amounts of data effectively.
  • Strong business acumen and market-oriented strategic thinking capabilities.
