About the Role

We’re seeking a Buying Estimator to join our fast-paced automotive team. This role is critical in supporting the vehicle buying process by providing accurate and timely estimates for used cars. You’ll work closely with the Sales Executive and Sales Manager as part of a high-performing trio, helping close deals while balancing customer expectations and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections using the EVAL app, including taking photos, entering detailed descriptions, and answering all required questions.
• Prepare accurate estimates for bodywork, mechanical repairs, and cosmetic issues, ensuring alignment with internal bodyshop and workshop standards.
• Engage directly with customers to discuss vehicle condition, service history, and repair needs.
• Collaborate with buyers and CPOV management to determine fair market value and ensure optimal stock mix and pricing.
• Support the Sales Executive in closing deals by providing expert insights and balancing customer satisfaction with operational goals.
• Ensure that the final retail preparation cost does not exceed the original estimate by more than 10%.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in vehicle estimating, inspection, or mechanical roles.
• Strong knowledge of bodyshop and workshop operations, including damage assessment and repair quoting.
• Familiarity with the EVAL app or similar vehicle inspection tools.
• Excellent customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and reliable approach.
• Arabic language proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in car estimating, inspection, or mechanic roles.
• Preferred Backgrounds: Bodyshop, workshop reception, loss prevention, or automotive sales.
• Skills: MS Office proficiency, strong verbal and written English communication.

Reporting Line

This role reports directly to the CPOV Manager and operates in a dynamic, customer-facing environment with close collaboration across sales and operations.
