Role Summary

As an AI Agent Engineer – Python, you will be responsible for building autonomous and

semi-autonomous agents that use LLMs, knowledge graphs, and orchestration frameworks to

perform tasks such as architecture analysis, threat model creation, and security risk scoring.

This role combines deep Python engineering skills with hands-on experience building agentic AI

systems using frameworks like LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or CrewAI.

You will play a critical role in shaping our AI agent architecture, integrating models with our

product stack, and ensuring real-time reasoning, memory, and tool-use capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents that interact with structured data, APIs, and
  
  
  

knowledge sources to assist in cybersecurity workflows.

• Build modular Python components for reasoning, memory management, tool invocation,
  
  
  

and agent orchestration.

• Integrate LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, or open-weight models) with retrieval-augmented
  
  
  

generation (RAG) pipelines and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate).

• Collaborate with data scientists, cybersecurity SMEs, and product teams to implement
  
  
  

user-focused AI automation.

• Prototype new capabilities rapidly and iterate through experimentation.
• Manage prompt engineering, context injection, and grounding strategies for
  
  
  

high-reliability agent behavior.

• Optimize agent performance in terms of latency, accuracy, and interpretability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation and testing infrastructure.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional Python development experience with strong software
  
  
  

engineering fundamentals.

• Experience building agent-based systems using frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI,
  
  
  

Autogen, or similar.

• Solid understanding of LLMs, vector search, prompt chaining, and function calling.
• Experience integrating APIs and external tools into autonomous pipelines.
• Familiarity with architectural patterns for agentic systems (e.g., planner-executor,
  
  
  

toolformer-style, reflection loop).

• Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Hugging Face Transformers, or Anthropic APIs.
• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or systems architecture is a major plus.
• Experience working with vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, Chroma) and embedding
  
  
  

models.

• Familiarity with Docker, FastAPI, and CI/CD pipelines for AI services.
• Experience with knowledge graphs, graph databases, or symbolic reasoning.
