Your Role as a Chief Financial Officer will include development of a financial and operational strategy, identifying and tracking relevant KPIs, ongoing development and monitoring of control systems to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. It will also include obtaining and maintaining investor relations and partnership compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

● Assist in formulating the company’s future direction through providing input on the company’s business plan, financial and tax strategies, budgeting and forecasting

● Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team

● Advising on long-term business and financial planning

● Establishing and developing relations with senior management, external partners and stakeholders

● Help in setting and tracking financial goals, objectives, and budgets

● Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company

● Report financial results to the board of directors; report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors

● Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives

● Advises Top Management in the stock offering process, and executes the stock offering process including financial readiness, regulatory compliance, due diligence, coordination with investment bankers, legal advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

● Manage the due diligence and financial planning required to attract investors

● Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies

● Review financial reports for ways to reduce costs.

● Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary.

● Work closely with the Managing Director, CMO and Business Head to develop the strategic plans.

Qualifications/Skills and Experience Required (but are not limited to):

● Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory

● 10-12 years of experience in finance, preferably in digital marketing or Advertising company

● Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting

● Experience with corporate governance, budget management and public accounting

● Sound knowledge around business, its financial dynamics & regulatory requirements across tax/commercial/banking/exchange regulations

● In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.

● Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

● Managing profitability by doing financial and strategic planning

● Solid accounting experience, business acumen and an excellent grasp of business analytics

● Excellent communication and people skills

● Prior experience as a CFO for a similar sized company/Industry would be preferred

● Exposure in fundraising, investor relations, or M&A is a plus
