Video Editor AI Video Post-Production Specialist

We’re on the lookout for a kickass Video Editor to join our team, specializing in the post-production of high-impact video content. Youll primarily be refining and finessing AI-generated videos for cinematic ads, mixed reality experiences, short ads, and TV commercials. This role demands a strong eye for detail, a keen sense of pacing, and expertise in transforming raw footage into polished, compelling narratives.

Our ideal candidate has significant experience in post-production for live-action video, including commercial work, and is proficient in enhancing visuals with VFX, SFX, and seamless transitions. This is a 100% remote role.

Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Execute precise cuts, assemble footage, switch/apply camera movements, refine pacing, etc. to create engaging and impactful narratives from AI-generated video assets.
• AI Video Enhancement: Apply advanced post-production techniques to AI-generated visuals, including refining visual effects (VFX), designing and integrating sound effects (SFX), and implementing seamless transitions.
• Color Grading & Correction: Ensure consistent and high-quality color grading that enhances the visual storytelling and aligns with project mood.
• Sound Design & Mixing: Integrate sound effects, music, and voiceovers; mix audio tracks to achieve professional-grade sound.
• Optimization: Deliver final video assets optimized for various platforms, including social media, web, and broadcast.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with creative directors and AI generation specialists to ensure the final output meets all creative and technical specifications.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven prior experience in video editing and post-production for live-action content, TV commercials, and ad films. Experience with AI-generated video post-production is a significant plus.
• Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (for editing) and Adobe After Effects (for VFX, motion graphics, and compositing). 
• Core Skills: a) Excellent design sensibility with an eye for quality, visual storytelling, and meticulous attention to detail. b) Strong understanding of pacing, rhythm, and narrative flow in video. c) Solid knowledge of color correction, grading principles, and sound design.
• Important: Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve technical challenges in post-production.
• Remote Work: You have your own professional workspace
• AI Proficiency: Google flow, Kling, etc. for basic image/video generation or refinement. Flexible to work on AI tools to fasten the post production process.
