Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive science lessons to students in assigned grade levels.
• Develop and utilize educational materials and resources for engaging science instruction.
• Assess and evaluate students’ performance and progress through various assessment methods.
• Encourage a scientific mindset and critical thinking through interactive teaching techniques.
• Organize and oversee science experiments and laboratory activities, ensuring safety protocols.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate cross-curricular activities into the science curriculum.
• Foster a classroom atmosphere conducive to the intellectual and social development of students.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address concerns.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' grades and attendance.
• Stay updated with developments in science education and incorporate them into teaching practice.
• Support students individually to overcome learning challenges and academic difficulties.
• Conduct occasional extracurricular workshops or science clubs to enhance student learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field.
• Teaching certification or license applicable to the educational level being taught.
• Proven experience as a Science Teacher or similar educational role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and the ability to teach across different science subjects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and colleagues.
• Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for diverse student backgrounds.
