Job Description

As a Concierge Associate, you will be the front-line ambassador, warmly welcoming and providing unparalleled services to guests. Your primary role is to ensure the seamless execution of any task that contributes to an enjoyable and fulfilling guest experience. You will be responsible for responding to inquiries, offering recommendations, and coordinating special services and activities. A successful concierge associate is personable, has a wealth of local knowledge, and possesses excellent problem-solving abilities. By actively engaging with each guest individually, you build trust and foster relationships, thereby ensuring repeat business and glowing reviews. This role is pivotal in creating memorable guest experiences, requiring a genuine passion for hospitality, an eye for detail, and the ability to anticipate guest needs.


Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly and welcoming environment.
  • Manage guest inquiries promptly and provide accurate information.
  • Offer expert recommendations on local attractions and dining options.
  • Coordinate guest reservations and appointments efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle guest requests and amenities with promptness and professionalism.
  • Effectively communicate with other departments to fulfill guest needs.
  • Assist in organizing transportation and travel arrangements for guests.
  • Resolve guests’ complaints or issues to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the hotel's services and facilities.
  • Provide guests with detailed information about local events and activities.
  • Ensure the concierge desk operates smoothly and maintains its tidiness.
  • Document and report any concerning guest feedback or incidents to management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in hospitality preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a concierge or in a similar customer service role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local area amenities, attractions, and events.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in using hospitality management software and hotel booking systems.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations involving guests.
