SAP ABAP Developer - PI PO Module

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Proxy Developer with strong expertise in ABAP and SAP Proxy integration to design, develop, and maintain SAP interfaces using ABAP Proxies (Inbound & Outbound). The ideal candidate will work closely with SAP functional teams, integration (PI/PO/CPI) teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions for system-to-system communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance ABAP Proxy interfaces (both synchronous and asynchronous) between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Design and implement service interfaces using SAP PI/PO, CPI, or directly via SAP ABAP Proxies.
• Create custom ABAP programs, classes, and function modules to support proxy communication.
• Handle exception/error handling, logging, and performance tuning of ABAP Proxy interfaces.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams (SD, MM, FI, etc.) to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support data mappings and transformations between XML/JSON formats and SAP structures.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist with UAT and go-live support.
• Document technical specifications, interface designs, and integration mappings.
• Troubleshoot issues in production and non-production environments related to proxy communications.
• Stay updated with SAP best practices, technologies, and integration strategies (SAP BTP, S/4HANA, Cloud Integration, etc.).
