Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of our organization. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Your primary goal will be to expand our customer base and establish the company as a leader in our industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product development to ensure alignment of goals and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities in new and existing markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align efforts and drive growth.
  • Conduct detailed market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to protect market position.
  • Manage a pipeline of business leads to ensure continuous growth and development.
  • Track and report on sales metrics and business development activities regularly.
  • Provide feedback to product teams to help guide future development efforts.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales roles.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to drive the business development process from plan to close.
  • Experience with CRM software and familiarity with sales tracking methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
