The Role:

As an Assistant to Site Lead/Country Head at Logitech, based in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in supporting various administrative and operational activities. Your expertise in contract management, budget oversight, shipment tracking, internship/apprenticeship coordination, help build internal branding, engaging logitech visitors and onboarding new hires will be essential in ensuring smooth and effective departmental operations

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the Contingent Workforce Resource (CWR) invoices, overseeing renewals and resolving any disputes efficiently.
  • Coordinate shipments, provide customs clearance guidance, assess shipment delays, maintain shipment lists and provide weekend support for the Trade Compliance team.
  • Support the P&C team activities which includes branding, communication, cross collaboration , event management and various site related engagements
  • Maintain a filing system for important and confidential company documents and ensure they are easily accessible and trackable
  • Generate regular reports on administrative operations and activities and share it with the Local leadership team.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams on internship programs, including interview scheduling, orientation sessions, evaluations, and reward programs.
  • Set up workspaces for new hires, provide facility tours, and arrange introduction meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Manage visitor appointments, food & travel arrangements.
  • Follow up on procurement activities to ensure timely delivery and compliance. Ensure on-time payments to vendors and establish new relationships with vendors
  • Assist in external audits (GST, Customs Clearance, Health & Safety etc) with documentation needs
  • Organize all the government contracts and follow-up with relevant parties (internal and external) to ensure on-time renewal
  • Identify room for improvement in existing admin activities and work with IT to automate them
  • Help order and stock logitech products well in advance to distribute to external speakers, guests, LARC winners, hackathons, external vendors (C-Staff) visiting logitech premises
  • Work with various internal teams and departments (Procurement, Facilities, P&C, Compliance, Legal
  • Ensure the office complies with all health and safety regulations and company policies

Your Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and behaviors:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in administrative or related roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Experience in budget management and contract negotiations.
  • Familiarity with shipment coordination and customs clearance processes.
  • Experience in organizing team-building activities and events.
  • Strong vendor management and procurement follow-up skills.
  • Experience in GCC (Global Capability Center) or multinational companies is advantageous.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
