Job Title: Senior SAP ABAP Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team at RTX Corporation. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing SAP applications and enhancements to support our business operations. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP ABAP programming and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs and enhancements in SAP systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide technical expertise in SAP modules such as MM, FI, CO, PS and others as required.
• Perform code reviews, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues in existing ABAP programs.
• Utilize principles of Test Driven Development and Unit Testing.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
• Integrate third-party tools and applications with SAP systems.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Support system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior developers as needed.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Proficiency in core ABAP programming, including RICEF, (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework).
• Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP, SAP Fiori/UI5 development, and OData services.
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies, such as ALE/IDocs, RFC, BAPIs, and Web Services.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its technical architecture is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Experience with agile development methodologies.
