Software Development Snr Manager

Job Description

Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

This is a hands on position who will directly manage developers and applications.

The candidate must

• have years of experience as noted.
• have a degree in Computer Science, preferably with a Masters degree, or the equivalent hands on work experience.
• be willing to work in person at the Oracle office in Bangalore.
• be a self starter, has initiative, and require minimal management oversight and supervision.
• be driven with excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• be willing to do DevSecOps work.
• be familiar with security practices, coding and implementation.
• be technically strong, with the ability to write code and review code.

Responsibilities

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.
