Senior Image Quality Engineer

Job Description

Intro: could be along these lines - Do you want to be a part of our team that defines image quality, metrics and tuning methodology of ON’s cutting edge image sensors used for Autonomous driving

Responsibilities

Requirement

03-05 or more years of experience in Camera Image Quality metrics, tuning, automation and Camera Systems operation.

Proficient in coding (C++,/Python/Matlab) to automate validation and tuning. Basic familiarity of AI is a bonus.

Deep knowledge of image processing algorithms such as auto-exposure, auto-white balancing, tone mapping, color correction and high dynamic range concepts.

Ability to think outside the box and create new testing/validation methods.

Experience Building Custom Image Quality Lab Setups Is Preferred.

Systematic debug skills are required.

The ability to document measurement procedures and test results and to communicate effectively with internal customers and vendors.

Good writing and oral skills, must work well in teams.

A good work ethic and must be innovative.

Qualifications

Qualifications for Internal Candidates

BS EE/ME/Physics/Optics (or equivalent) with 03 -05 years of experience

Engineering experience in Image Quality Experience in the semiconductor industry

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills (at all levels of the organization)

Clarity and independence of thought – ability to close on decisions (and builds organization support)

Ability and flexibility to regularly communicate with team members in various time zones around the world
