What Youll Achieve
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth via customer acquisition of replacement and fresh deployment cases. This role requires strategic planning, strong SMB client engagement, and proven expertise in B2B SaaS IT/Software sales to meet ambitious business goals.
You Will
- Collaborate with leadership to execute comprehensive sales strategies and objectives that align with overall business goals.
- Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in retail, wholesale and lifestyle manufacturing brands and ecommerce.
- Generate and qualify leads through calls, networking, social media, and industry events.
- Deliver customized product presentations, proposals, and solution offerings that address specific client needs and strategic objectives.
- Accurately forecast sales, and monitor performance metrics against targets, initiating corrective measures as necessary to achieve goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop sales team members to enhance skills, boost individual and team performance, and cultivate a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Provide strategic market insights and intelligence on industry trends, customer behavior, and regional opportunities to influence organizational planning and decision-making.
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and align solutions accordingly. Help the team with requirements mapping in complex cases.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively, ensuring seamless handover to implementation and customer success teams to guarantee client satisfaction and retention.
- Hand-hold customers till the deployment of products is successful
- Create and capitalize on upsell opportunities
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, forums, and networking events to enhance brand presence, build strategic partnerships, and drive business development initiatives.

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the IT/Software industry.
- Mentorship experience of sales team
- Experienced in retail tech (B2B SaaS) sales
