Industrial Engineer

Job Summary

The IE Manager will be responsible for leading the Industrial Engineering function, optimizing production efficiency, improving cost-effectiveness, and driving continuous improvement across textile manufacturing operations.

 Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and monitor industrial engineering processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and time & motion studies for various production processes.
• Analyze production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen practices for efficiency and waste reduction.
• Prepare and monitor capacity planning, line balancing, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Monitor KPIs such as efficiency, utilization, and productivity to achieve organizational targets.
• Lead and train IE team members for skill development and performance improvement.
• Support management in cost reduction initiatives and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering / Textile Technology / Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8–12 years of experience in Industrial Engineering within textile manufacturing (woven/knit/garment industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and TPM practices.
• Experience in production planning, work study, and process improvement techniques.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and production monitoring tools.
