We’re seeking a high-IQ, driven, and passionate game designer to join our team and help create groundbreaking entertainment products.

Role & Key Responsibilities:

Whether you’re an experienced designer or an up-and-coming talent, what matters to us is your skill, drive, and love for games.

• Design Documentation: Write comprehensive game design specifications and feature docs that clearly communicate gameplay mechanics, systems, controls, and content to the team.
• Quality & Polish Ownership: Drive the game’s polish and uphold the quality bar – work closely with engineers, artists, and level designers to ensure every feature and asset meets our high standards and the game feels great to play.
• Market Analysis & Research: Continuously analyze top-performing mobile and shooter games. Identify trending features and design elements in the market and produce detailed, analytical breakdowns of reference games to inform and inspire our own game design decisions.
• Manage Playtesting & Feedback: Organize and manage player feedback through internal and external playtests. Gather qualitative feedback and gameplay data, analyze player responses, and iterate on designs to improve the game based on real user insights.
• AI Integration: Research and implement AI tools to enhance the game design process. Explore AI applications for prototyping, testing, and content creation. Stay current on AI developments relevant to game design

What We’re Looking For:

• High IQ & Problem-Solving: High intellectual horsepower with exceptional problem-solving skills – you approach complex design challenges with a structured, logical mindset and devise smart, systematic solutions.
• Clear, Organized Writer: Excellent writing skills with a knack for clarity and organization. You can produce detailed design documentation and specifications that are easy for others to understand and follow.
• Passion for Shooters: A deep passion for shooter games on mobile (and console/PC too!) – you love playing and dissecting games like FPS/TPS titles. You’re eager to play numerous games for research and have keen insight into what makes shooter gameplay fun and engaging for players.
• Curious & Growth-Oriented: A strong learner’s mindset with endless curiosity. You constantly seek to learn new things, research design techniques, study games, and improve your own skills. You embrace feedback and see challenges as opportunities to grow.
• AI Enthusiast: Interest in artificial intelligence and its applications in game design. You’re willing (and excited) to study emerging AI tools/techniques and figure out how to incorporate them into the design process to boost creativity or efficiency.
• Analytical Mindset: Comfort with analytical thinking and data. You can break down game systems or player feedback logically, identify patterns or problems, and back up your design decisions with sound reasoning (or even supporting data when available).
• Detail-Oriented Quality Focus: An eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. You care about the little details that elevate a game from good to great, and you’re dedicated to delivering a polished, high-quality player experience.

Demonstrated Skill & Achievements:

We welcome junior as well as veteran candidates – but you must demonstrate your game design ability. This could be through prior work on games (professional or hobbyist), personal projects, blog posts, mods, game jam entries, or any notable design achievements that show off your skills and creative thinking.
