We are currently seeking a Informatica Developer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Highlighted items to be focussed

Key Responsibilities :

• ETL Development: Design and implement scalable ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter/IICS/IDMC for structured and semi-structured data.
• Data Quality: Define, implement, and monitor data quality rules and scorecards using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
• Data Governance: Work with data stewards and governance teams to implement data policies, lineage, and metadata management using Axon and Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) or on Cloud metadata catalog/data governance.
• Application Integration: Integrate on-prem and cloud-based applications through Informatica Application Integration and Cloud Services (IICS).
• API & Web Services: Design and consume REST/SOAP APIs within Informatica Cloud for real-time data exchange.
• Rule Specifications & Occurrence Handling: Translate business rules into technical specifications, implement profiling, and manage rule-based transformation logic.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL workflows and data mappings for performance and scalability.

IICS/IDMC (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services)

Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)

Axon/Cloud (Data Governance)

Enterprise Data Catalog/Cloud Metadata management (EDC/MCC)

Integration:

REST/SOAP API development and consumption

Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI)

JSON/XML transformations

Database & Data Warehousing:

Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL

Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, or similar DW platforms

Data Governance:

Understanding of data stewardship, lineage, and metadata standards

Exposure to frameworks like DAMA DMBOK is a plus

Other Tools/Technologies:

Git, Jira, ServiceNow (for incident and change management)

Unix/Linux scripting

Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred)
