Job Description

The Field Sales Officer is an integral part of our sales team, responsible for driving sales in their designated territory. This role involves interacting with potential and existing customers, building robust relationships, and understanding their needs to provide effective solutions. The Field Sales Officer will actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media, and close deals to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for sales. They should possess the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, work independently, and have a sustained commitment to achieving outstanding results. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the assigned territory.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Visit potential and existing customers in their locations to discuss products and services.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments to optimize results.
  • Analyze market potential, track sales, and provide strategic insights to management.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitor activities.
  • Continuously improve sales techniques and industry knowledge through training and workshops.
  • Track personal quotas and manage personal sales pipeline effectively to maximize sales performance.
  • Engage with customers proactively to ensure product and service satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Field Sales Officer or similar sales role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage customers.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite and CRM software systems.
  • Aptitude for working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • Highly motivated with a proven track record in meeting sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
