Job Description

The Vendor Coordinator is an integral role within our organization, responsible for managing relationships and contracts with external vendors and suppliers. This role requires an individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple vendor partnerships, ensuring the smooth procurement of goods and services. The Vendor Coordinator acts as a liaison between the company and its vendors, negotiating terms, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that all transactions comply with company policies and standards. By maintaining strong and effective vendor relationships, the Coordinator helps drive operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. This position demands a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage vendor relationships to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate communication between vendors and internal teams for project alignment.
  • Identify and resolve any vendor-related issues or disputes promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, communications, and evaluations.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews of vendor services and offerings.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to align vendor contracts with company needs.
  • Ensure all vendor transactions comply with company policies and standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all vendor inquiries and communications.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of vendor management strategies.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying opportunities for improved vendor terms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in vendor management or procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation skills with an ability to influence outcomes favorably.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor interaction.
  • Proficient in using vendor management software and systems efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
