Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our esteemed healthcare team. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating individuals with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on how to improve communication beyond therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
  • Utilize advanced speech therapy techniques and technologies to aid in patient treatment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
  • Advocate for patient needs and ensure they receive the best possible care and support.
  • Supervise and mentor speech therapy assistants or interns as needed.
  • Conduct research and contribute to the development of innovative speech therapy methods.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Valid license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
  • Proven experience working with patients with a variety of speech disorders.
  • Strong understanding of speech therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients and families.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated in the field.
