Job Description

As the Operations Head, you will play a pivotal role in steering the overall success and efficiency of the company’s operations. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our operational processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and profitability. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and the ability to develop and implement operational policies and procedures. The Operations Head will work closely with department heads to create strategies to improve business performance and ensure compliance with all laws and company guidelines. You will also oversee the daily operations and ensure that business objectives are met consistently and on time, ultimately contributing to the long-term success of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational policies to efficiently align with company objectives.
  • Manage daily operations to ensure a smooth and productive workflow.
  • Plan strategic initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs.
  • Lead and mentor the operations team to promote productivity and morale.
  • Collaborate with department heads to streamline processes across various functions.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational performance metrics for continual improvement.
  • Oversee inventory, logistics, and supply chain management to ensure efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and guidelines.
  • Resolve operational issues promptly and implement preventive measures.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on operational performance for senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact operational activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management or a similar role.
  • Exceptional leadership and personnel management skills are required.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
  • Proven ability to develop, analyze and interpret operational policies and procedures.
  • Competence in operations management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
