Job Description

An HR Administrator plays a pivotal role in fostering a productive and harmonious workplace by efficiently managing the human resources operations of an organization. This role involves a blend of administrative and HR duties, requiring the professional to be organized, detail-oriented, and adept at handling a variety of tasks from recruiting to record-keeping. As the first point of contact for HR-related queries, the HR Administrator ensures the smooth operation of HR functions and duties. They manage employee queries, maintain personnel records, and support the HR department in various long-term development strategies, making them indispensable to the seamless human resources operations of the company.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job advertisements and conducting preliminary interviews.
  • Manage employee records by ensuring accurate entry and updating of their details in HR systems.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are settled effectively.
  • Support payroll activities by preparing and submitting employee data changes.
  • Contribute to employee relations by addressing queries and resolving HR-related issues.
  • Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and morale.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations by updating company policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and uphold privacy standards.
  • Prepare HR documentation such as contracts of employment and new employee guides.
  • Coordinate and schedule exit interviews and ensure completion of exit procedures.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide management with reports and insights into HR matters.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all departments to facilitate HR operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an HR administrative or related role is highly preferable.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and connect with employees.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiar with HR software and databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
