Job Description

As an Event Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales efforts for events organized by our company. Your primary focus will be on developing and nurturing client relationships, generating new business, and ensuring the successful execution of events by liaising closely with clients and internal teams. You will need to be proactive in identifying potential clients and engaging with them to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and achieve sales targets. A keen understanding of the events industry, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills, are essential to thrive in this role. You will be expected to stay updated on the latest market trends and innovative sales strategies to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge in the market.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan, coordinate, and execute successful events that meet client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profits while meeting client expectations.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and presentations tailored to the specific requirements of each client.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective promotional strategies for events.
  • Follow up with prospective clients through phone calls, emails, and meetings to secure sales.
  • Attend industry events and networking circles to establish and grow professional connections.
  • Ensure clear and timely communication with clients throughout the event planning process.
  • Monitor and manage budgets to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness of events.
  • Provide post-event feedback to clients to assure satisfaction and gather insights for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in event sales or a related sales role.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and growing client base.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, when necessary.
  • Ability to travel to attend client meetings and industry events as required.
