As an Automobile Sales Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking guidance and assistance in purchasing vehicles. Your role involves presenting and selling a range of vehicles to potential buyers, while providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships. This position requires a deep understanding of automotive products, competitive pricing, and financing options to effectively meet customer needs. Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicles to satisfy their preferences.
  • Conduct vehicle presentations and explain features, efficiency, and condition thoroughly.
  • Organize and accompany customers on test drives, being attentive to safety considerations.
  • Negotiate pricing and financing options to close sales and meet dealership targets.
  • Prepare all necessary paperwork and documentation for vehicle sales transactions.
  • Follow up with existing clients to ensure their continued satisfaction post-purchase.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales transactions using CRM software.
  • Stay updated on current automotive trends, new models, and dealership promotions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to attract new clients and grow customer base.
  • Manage and restock merchandise displays to keep the sales lot appealing to customers.
  • Participate in sales training sessions and dealership meetings to enhance performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry or related field.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle features, specifications, and performance metrics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse clientele.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales goals while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and other sales-related software tools.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required for test drives.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
