Job Description

The Assistant Sales Manager plays a crucial role in facilitating sales operations and supporting the Sales Manager in executing strategies to boost sales performance and customer engagement. This position requires a proactive and motivated individual who can effectively manage sales teams, foster customer relationships, and contribute to the growth and success of the company. The Assistant Sales Manager will be involved in setting sales targets, evaluating team performance, and ensuring that the sales objectives align with the company's goals. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies and goals.
  • Coordinate sales team activities and ensure effective communication among all members.
  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance sales team skills.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and suggest improvements in sales tactics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions with management to align sales objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of sales presentations and proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards in all sales activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in a managerial capacity.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and staff.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales metrics and data.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress sales environments.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office applications effectively.
