The role of a Telesales Agent is pivotal in driving the sales efforts of an organization through direct interaction with customers over the phone. In this dynamic position, the Telesales Agent is responsible for understanding customer needs, offering suitable products or services, and closing sales deals. Responsibilities

  • Engage potential customers in conversations to promote company products or services.
  • Identify and qualify sales leads through proactive outreach and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales in the CRM system.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets set by the management team.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align on campaign objectives and leads.
  • Provide detailed product information and address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Handle customer objections with a problem-solving approach and persuasive skills.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Gather and document customer feedback to contribute to product improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve group sales goals.
  • Follow established scripts and guidelines while customizing the sales pitch.
  • Consistently update personal knowledge of industry trends and market developments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Telesales Agent or similar customer service role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to handle rejection and remain resilient in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant CRM software systems and data entry practices.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in sales or marketing is a plus.
