Job Description

A Social Media Executive plays a pivotal role in managing and enhancing an organization's online presence. This position involves the creation, curation, and management of published content across various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others. The Social Media Executive is responsible for developing strategies to engage audiences, increase brand awareness, and drive website traffic. They work closely with the marketing team to align social media content with broader marketing campaigns. Success in this role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills, as well as an understanding of current social media trends and best practices.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality content relevant to target audiences.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms promptly.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align social media efforts with marketing goals.
  • Analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and strategies.
  • Identify and engage with online influencers to increase brand awareness and reach.
  • Create monthly reports summarizing social media performance and engagement metrics.
  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends and platform developments.
  • Develop and implement paid social media campaigns to reach specific objectives.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure adherence to brand guidelines across all posts.
  • Organize and conduct social media contests to increase audience engagement.
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve social media content and strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in social media marketing or equivalent digital marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Skilled in analyzing social media metrics and using data to inform strategies.
  • Ability to create engaging multimedia content, including videos and graphics.
