Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our esteemed medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging examinations while collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Conduct and interpret various medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to discuss imaging results and suggest appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Ensure proper patient safety protocols are followed during imaging procedures to avoid unnecessary exposure.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiology technologies and practices.
  • Provide detailed and accurate reports of imaging results to referring physicians in a timely manner.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss cases with clinical teams as needed.
  • Supervise and guide radiology technicians and other support staff in performing imaging procedures.
  • Manage imaging department workflow to ensure efficient and productive service delivery.
  • Consult with patients to explain procedures and answer any questions they may have.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all radiological procedures conducted.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and regulations while ensuring high standards of diagnostic accuracy.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to maintain certification and expand your expertise.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and completion of a Radiology residency program.
  • Board certification in Radiology by the relevant authority is required.
  • Strong understanding of the principles and techniques of radiological imaging.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex diagnostic results.
  • Outstanding communication skills to convey findings to healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Commitment to patient safety and adherence to ethical standards in medical practice.
  • Proficiency with radiology equipment and familiarity with PACS and other imaging software.
