Quality Inspector (225-826)

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the products produced by the company meet specific standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will be responsible for examining materials, parts, and products to ensure they adhere to established standards and specifications, using precision measuring instruments and testing equipment as necessary. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure will contribute significantly to maintaining the quality and integrity of our products. You will work closely with production teams to ensure any defects are caught early and corrective actions are implemented promptly. Additionally, you will document inspection results, help in the continual improvement of processes, and work towards achieving the highest level of product quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, products, and services to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and quality control documents to assess product compliance.
• Measure products using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices to verify specifications.
• Document inspection results, including detailed quality reports and process improvements as necessary.
• Identify defects and non-conformities, and communicate these to production teams for resolution.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies.
• Coordinate with production managers and staff to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection instruments and equipment according to established guidelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on quality standards and inspection techniques to ensure consistent understanding.
• Participate in internal and external audits to verify compliance with quality systems.
• Ensure all safety protocols are observed during testing and inspection processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in quality inspection preferred.
• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar quality control role.
• Familiarity with quality control standards, testing methodologies, and precision measurement tools.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect small defects and anomalies.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to document and report on inspection findings effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with production teams and management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
