Job Description

As a Business Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. Your keen analytical skills will guide you in interpreting data to deliver actionable insights that align with business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and marketing, to ensure that any system developments or changes reinforce business objectives. In this dynamic role, you will influence change management, drive project initiatives, and contribute to enhancing operational proficiency, thus fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate complex business systems and processes for potential improvements.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand business needs, problems, and objectives.
  • Analyze data trends to develop insights and suggest strategic solutions.
  • Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.
  • Develop project plans to outline timelines, resources, and deliverables for stakeholders.
  • Facilitate IT and business communication to translate technical requirements effectively.
  • Conduct workshops and interviews to gather requirements and document business processes.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with established objectives and timelines.
  • Prepare reports, documentations, and presentations for executive consumption and decision-making.
  • Coordinate user testing and change management processes prior to project implementation.
  • Assess the effectiveness of existing systems and suggest improvements.
  • Implement best practices for process re-engineering and operational optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role in a corporate setting.
  • Proven experience with data analytics and visual reporting tools like SQL, Excel, or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements accurately and clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across multiple departments.
