As a Receptionist in a healthcare setting, you will be the welcoming face and voice for patients and visitors at a medical facility. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and vendors professionally at all times.

  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments as needed and manage the appointment calendar.
  • Collect necessary patient information to complete the registration process efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality in mind.
  • Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and preparing them for appointments.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and operations.
  • Address patient inquiries and complaints, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure that all necessary supplies and forms are stocked and organized for daily activities.
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations while performing daily tasks.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for effective interaction.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and familiarity with medical management software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when necessary.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications will be a plus.
