As a Fashion Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in blending creativity with business acumen to ensure that our collections cater to both market demand and fashion trends. The Fashion Merchandiser is responsible for planning and developing merchandising strategies aimed at maximizing sales, gaining customer attention, and providing an aesthetically pleasing retail experience. You will collaborate closely with fashion designers, suppliers, buyers, and retailers to analyze fashion forecasts, interpret them into customer-friendly products, and develop strategies that highlight our fashion offerings in retail markets. Your keen eye for fashion trends, understanding of customer preferences, and strong analytical skills will drive the success of product lines, ultimately ensuring that the right merchandise is available at the right time and price to meet consumer demand.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production and preparation of visual displays to enhance product sales.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and pricing structures to maximize profitability and assortment.
• Present merchandise concepts and collections to buyers, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify and leverage market opportunities.
• Report on product performance, consumer behavior, and market trends to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in fashion merchandising or a similar retail industry role.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret sales data and market research findings effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for negotiations and presentations.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in merchandising software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
