Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers to facilitate repeated and referral business.
• Provide expert advice and knowledge about jewellery products and their specifications.
• Maintain an appealing display and arrangement of jewellery pieces in the store.
• Assist customers with their purchases, from selection through to payment processing.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and new jewellery lines and collections.
• Conduct inventory checks regularly to manage stock levels and identify needs.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve and exceed store sales targets.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Execute marketing strategies and promotions within the store effectively.
• Handle administrative tasks related to sales, including updating sales logs.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of experience in a sales or customer service role.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Proficient in using various point of sale and inventory management systems.
• A passion for jewellery and fashion trends is highly preferred.
• Capability to lift and carry light to medium weight products comfortably.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, further education is advantageous.
