The Health, Safety, Environment, and Compliance (HSE&C) Advisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring workplace safety and environmental sustainability. This position is crucial for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety procedures that comply with industry standards and regulations. As an HSE&C Advisor, you will work closely with various departments to promote a culture of safety, conduct risk assessments, and lead environmental management programs. This role requires a deep understanding of legal health, safety requirements, and environmental policies, as well as the ability to communicate effectively to enforce compliance protocols and enhance workplace safety. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety procedures for the organization.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential health and safety hazards.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness through training programs and workshops.
• Monitor compliance with industry regulations and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Investigate incidents and accidents to determine causes and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with various departments to address safety and environmental concerns effectively.
• Prepare detailed reports on safety performance and incident investigations for management review.
• Ensure that all safety equipment is maintained and inspected regularly for effectiveness.
• Lead environmental management programs to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards and regulatory requirements related to HSE&C.
• Assist in the development of emergency response plans and conduct safety drills.
• Advise senior management on safety issues and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a health, safety, or environmental advisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA laws, regulations, and industry-specific safety standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities in safety management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective safety training and advising.
• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety audits.
• Certification in safety or environmental management, such as NEBOSH, is highly desirable.
